Hail to the Chief..it's a Presidents Day theme this week at the giant snail races. For those not in America, President's Day is a holiday celebrating and remembering U.S. Presidents, mainly George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. So head on down to Devon Dream, and you might just catch sight of one or two of them.

There be dragons here! We're having a cup race this week on the Isle of Wyrms, all snails and/or dragons are invited to participate in the race. So come on down and race as or watch these majestic, magical, wonderful creatures.

While based on the Chinese New Year snail, I have made enough changes between the two to feel like I needed to classify this as a new snail.Isle of Wyrms Snail 2: From the front. It's time for some luck of the Irish, it's a St. Patrick's Day theme this week at the giant snail races. So get your green on, grab your 4 leaf clover and follow that rainbow to the end at Devon Dream for that pot of gold that is giant snail racing.

This week is the first Relay for Life Giant Snail Race of 2012. Following the RFL theme of "Time for a Cure", the theme for this weeks snail race is time. The snails will be running this race across the Skybeam Estate sims and should be in for a fun time.

This Saturday, April 21st, 2012, was the wedding of RacerX Gullwing and Safra Nitely at the giant snail track. The weddding went off beautifully, Racer and Safra had decided to do the marriage in giant snail form. So along with the decorating and building for the wedding at the track, I ended up making all the snails for the wedding party. And yes, I, Safra and even Racer, all raced in our wedding party snails.

Racer had also adapted the groom snail with this snail. Wearing a black tux with bow tie, black "sleeved" hand feelers, and shinny black feet feelers and shell.Groomsman Snail 2: Racer had decided he wanted to surprise Safra with a white tux. Contacting me a couple nights before the wedding, he asked if the snail could be in white, it took awhile, but I got it done. Snail in a white tux with a lavender bow tie, purple bubbles and a purple name on the name plate.Bride Snail: This is the snail I designed for the bride. Though not a complete representation, a few items were Safra's, like her hair, and no transfer. It has purple eyes, pearl earrings and necklace. White gown with a lace outer trim. Holding a purple and white rose bouquet, feelers tipped in red, purple bubble drool. Shell with an elegant texture, trimmed in gold. Hollow glassed in middle of the shell containing another, larger bouquet. Missing are Safra's long, multicolored hair and veil, a couple white flowers at the top right of the dress and transparent petals along the breast line.Minister Snail: Found we needed a snail for the minister, and so I built that too. Based on the black tux snail, original jacket, bow tie and under shirt were removed and replaced with a black shirt with a white collar.

Happy Mothers Day, at least in the US. It's a Mothers Day theme this week at the giant snail races. So show your mom some love, give her a big hug and come with her down to Devon Dream and watch some giant snail racing together.

It was a candy theme for the first Giant Snail Race of 2013. With the track decked out in candy and the like, it turned out to be a sweet race. Also a milestone for me, as this was my 100th themed giant racing snail.
