Join us today, Monday 21st May at 2pm SLT in our beautiful studio in Garden of Dreams as we visit the Virtual Mine, a fascinating project in Second Life, created by Sand Castles Studios, in association with the Deep Down Mine documentary film.

The town of Maytown - and the polluting power station beyondThe town of Maytown - and the polluting power station beyond

We'll be talking to one of the makers of the documentary - Jen Gilomen, and to Gianna Borgnine of Sand Castle studios, as we explore the background to the creation of this region and the documentary, and then explore the area, looking at the issues it raises about the need for power, the cost of mountaintop mining, and the alternatives that could provide the needed power and employment, with far fewer environmental costs.

It makes for a fascinating show – so do come and join us at 2pm!

Or – if you can’t attend in person – tune in at 2pm SLT on Monday for the live show on http://treet.tv/live – where you can now chat with other audience members and even some of the participants during the show – or catch it later in the week on our shows page on the Treet.tv web site at http://treet.tv/shows/designingworlds – our very own version of the iPlayer!

And you might also like to tackle the Prim Perfect jigsaw, taken from this show, which we posted earlier today!

On Friday, May 17th at 3pm PST, Happy Hunting will be taping in the treet.tv studios in Garden of Dreams. So, come on over, take a seat in our very comfy studio chairs, then watch the taping.

Or - at least - the first part of the taping - for after that we'll be off on a secret mission to find out all about the Home and Garden Expo, which is happening from Saturday May 19th - Monday May 28th.

But before then, we will be finding out all the latest news and gossip from our Hunt reporter, Frequency Picnic who will be showing us all the latest goodies.

Our guest in the studio is missqwerty Pevensey, who will be joining us to talk about the Men Only Hunt!

See you in the studio and Happy Hunting!

Today, Tuesday 15th May, we shall be recording a special edition of Designing Worlds at our studio in Garden of Dreams.

The show will be broadcast on May 28th, but you can watch the taping, and participate by putting questions to our guests.

The theme of the show is looking at two Second Life businesses which - in different ways - are planning to transition into the real world.

The White ArmoryThe White Armory

The first of these is The White Armory - a well known store that specialises in medieval weaponry and beautiful costumes created by Colton Drechster and Bee Dumpling respectively.

The second is Jazzpaws, the initiative by Zayn Till and Wynx Whiplash of the tinies of Raglanshire, whose recent Kickstarter project garnered a great amount of interest across the grid.

Art Trail in Raglanshire, home of the TiniesArt Trail in Raglanshire, home of the Tinies

We'll be discussing these projects, and talking with Maria Korolov of Hypergrid Business about this new style of business transfer and the use of Kickstarter (and similar) funding. And you will have a chance to join the discussion and put your questions to our guests.

Filming will start at around 1.30pm, but you should arrive by 1pm to make sure of a seat.

Dancing with statues at ‘Not Everything Is Plain Black & White’ in InworldzDancing with statues at ‘Not Everything Is Plain Black & White’ in InworldzJoin us today, Monday 14th May at 2pm SLT in our beautiful studio in Garden of Dreams as we take a trip to another grid - Inworldz - to explore a fascinating art installation by the artist Fuschia Nightfire - who is also well-known in Second Life.

We'll be exploring 'Not Everything Is Plain Black & White' and it’s being staged on the Falathrim region by Fleure Homewood. This is an immersive installation and - to help you become a part of it - Fuschia has supplied a range of hairs, clothing and skins freely available to visitors.

There is a path to follow and hidden corners to discover (it's well worth braving the metallic spiders!). As we explore, Fuschia and Fleure talk to us about the installation, and about the capabilities of and advantages of building and showing Art in Inworldz.

It makes for a striking and very unusual show – so do come and join us at 2pm!
