Designing Worlds invites you to join us in our Northpoint studio today at 2pm SLT as we explore one of the smallest and most intricate of designs in Second Life - the creation of jewellery.
Usually on Designing Worlds we are looking at the large scale and saying: "Wow - that landscape! Whoa - that palace! Wow - that installation!" But, of course, one of the things that makes Second Life so enticing is the beauty of small - even tiny - objects. And jewellery here in the Second Life world raises a key question: how you can create such beautiful, tiny objects from prims?
Today on the show, we'll be finding out!
We meet Calla Cela, Master Jeweller and teacher, who will be explaining to us how one becomes a jeweller, the importance of textures, the problems that jewellers encounter in making their products - and what is required to become a Master Jeweller.
And she will also be giving us an amazing demonstration of the art of prim torturing to show us how prims can be shaped into the most intricate and beautiful of jewels.
The show starts at 2pm SLT, but you should be in our Northpoint studios by 1.30pm to make sure of getting a seat. And you will really want to come this week, because Calla has put together a fantastic gift box of goodies to give exclusively to our live audience attendees!

And make sure that you don’t miss the displays at our studio either – the StoryQuest Display on the beach outside our studio and the displays from Heritage Key and Garden of Dreams on display in our Exhibition Hall!
Or you tune in at 2pm SLT on Tuesday for the live show – where you can now chat with other audience members and even some of the participants during the show – or catch it later in the week on our shows page on the Treet.tv web site.
