"Or Mistakes, Breaks and Outtakes" as August Lusch suggested to call it.
I've compiled a YouTube video full of the good, the bad and the ugly side of my Machinima. Some of this was meant to see the light of day, some of it was so bad that even Texas didn't queue it up ("Yeah, it was bad") and some is just for fun.
In this seven minute video you'll find a promo, a failed tip video (which I blame on RacerX for the failure), Waelya Tenk talking about something in fake Wae-speak (I love you, Wae!), a horrible intro to the X Files episode, TheSpoof Werefox being very patient with me while spending a few hours recording the credit sequence while Baldi, August and Dmom chat it up (with me waiting silently for them to finish so I can get back to work) and finally ending with RacerX saying "Ok" and later off mic saying "Really, how did you cut off the top of my name?" :3

After some prodding by RacerX Gullwing I went hunting for a snail to star in a new tip video. This tips star is none other then our very own macro-ocularator, and Giant Snail Racing sponsor, Kerhop Seattle. During filming Kerhop said something about it taking 20 minutes minutes for 20 seconds of film, and that's no joke. But it was fun to make, as they always are. I think it's one of my better ones compared to some of the last few tips. And again, thanks to Kerhop for helping! Be sure to check out Kerhop's Inovations ( secondlife://Uzume/37/210/36/ ).
This by far was the shortest Relay For Life I've ever attended. Every Giant Snail Racing show has something funny and unique about it, and this time was no exception. If you've never seen one of these races or you're not sure what a Relay For Life is about, they work like this:
1. Put on a giant snail avatar and buy a scarf.
2. Find where you start and wait patiently.
3. When you get the signal, run and don't stop running.
4. Expect anything to happen, even bad things. Actually expect mostly bad things to happen. If bad things don't happen, what fun it is? You could be banned, crash, run the wrong direction, lost, stuck, trapped, blocked from entering a sim, griefed, sent flying into outer space/the ground/the ocean, etc. etc. etc...
5. Have fun trying to finish! Don't worry about being first, that's only a matter of luck. The odds of being first are high against everyone. Consider that only 50% to 70% of the snails finish before the episode ends and once in awhile you'll find snail randomly wondering the mainland months after the race asking people "Is the relay over yet?".
6. Afterwards watch the replay and see all the crazy things you missed! This part is equally enjoyable as the actual race.
The three funniest parts of this race to me was the backwards arrow (which now I see just needed rotating to fix), the random guy trying to mislead the snails with a giant arrow attachment and the fact that Treet.tv caught me goofing around with Bananarama when I wasn't expecting it.
Everyone will have their favorite moments, what were some of yours?
Also, there will be another Giant Snail Racing Relay next month. The minimal fee for joining is 1L (that's like scraping a bit of metal off a penny) and the money raised goes towards cancer research. Hope to see you there!
