As those of you who keep up with the show know, this has been one tight season. Now, as we work our way into the final week of competition for three classes (including the dirt modifieds) we come to the point where one has to ask, "Just who's taking home the bacon?"

Well, as we don't give out bacon-prizes in the Digital World Racing League, no one is. But I can assure you that some championship trophies will be going home with a few drivers tonight.

In Super Late Model competition the top two sit a whole two points apart. Zaria Falconer is quite well within striking distance of V&B Racing's heavyweight Champ , Ryde Thor. Thor's season's been pretty hot in the Super Lates, and he's only really been outshone by Falconer this season. Both drivers have netted two wins, but Falconer finished third once, while Thor placed second to her both times. Mathematically these are the two drivers with a shot.

Here's the standings;

1. Ryde Thor - 196 (2, 4, 4)
2. Zaria Falconer - 194 (2, 4, 4)
3. Subwoofer Fuhr - 178 (0, 1, 4)
4. Hoss Republic - 136 (0, 2, 3)
5. Landis Allen - 126 (0, 0, 2)
6. Bren Blackheart - 82 (0, 0, 1)
7. Justin Derryth - 78 (0, 0, 1)
8. Suku Ming - 46 (0, 1, 1)
9. Vickster Kuhn - 40 (0, 0, 0)
10. Bill Pedalo - 34 (0, 0, 0)

The Dirt Modified series is turning up the heat here in their finale. The points standings are a bit further apart, but really, it's still going to be up in the air until the checkers drop. Again it's Thor and Falconer who've come out on top of the standings, but Subwoofer Fuhr and Gage Pastorelli have also crept up into the picture. Pastorelli's solid driving style, and consistant finishes have put him in a position where he could take home one of the podium spots. Fuhr, despite several difficulties with his computer could also make things interesting, as he's within just a few points of Falconer.

Here's the Dirt Modified standings

1. Ryde Thor - 444 (6, 9, 9)
2. Zaria Falconer - 428 (2, 9, 9)
3. Subwoofer Fuhr - 410 (0, 6, 8)
4. Gage Pastorelli - 372 (0, 0, 7)
5. Landis Allen - 304 (0, 0, 3)
6. Hoss Republic - 290 (0, 1, 4)
7. Vickster Kuhn - 176 (0, 0, 0)
8. Mango Birdbrain - 142 (1, 2, 3)
9. Dowcha Foxdale - 114 (0, 0, 0)
10. Bren Blackheart - 112 (0, 0, 0)
11. Urantia Jewell - 42 (0, 0, 1)
12. Stephen Hinchcliffe - 40 (0, 0, 0)
12. Justin Derryth - 40 (0, 0, 0)
14. Huey Munz - 38 (0, 0, 0)
15. Antonia Foggarty - 36 (0, 0, 0)
15. Nicholas Huillermeyer - 36 (0, 0, 0)
17. Aherm Mauer - 30 (0, 0, 0)

Lastly, the troo series. What can you say about the TROO series that hasn't been said already this season? This has been some exciting stuff. Sometimes as many as 9 cars take to the track in a death-defying game of chicken at ridiculous speeds. Most times, of course, this results in a lot of damaged equipment, flaring tempers, and wrecks. Tonight shouldn't be any different -- especially with a championship on the line.

We'll be seeing you tonight on the Dirtfield Races show! Don't miss it!
