We're now four weeks into our summer racing season here in the D.W.R.L (Digital World Racing League) and we've got a few Treets (see what I did there?) in store for longtime fans, and newcomers to our show alike.

One fact I like to harp on this season is the fact that we've been visiting multiple venues this season. No longer are we at the Dirtfield Raceway alone, we've now expanded our racing frontiers, and are visiting another track, the newly built Truman Forest Raceway on the SPEEDWAY sim. Well, we've just expanded again..!

The stage is set, the lights are on, and we're ready to start up our new points season! May 2nd is the date to look for!

We've got a few MAJOR changes that we'll be implementing this season. For one , we're moving to a three car class system. What does this means? It means you'll see the same three types of cars EVERY WEEK during the season on Dirtfield Races! This means more instant action, more fast paced thrills, and a ton less confusion.

As those of you who keep up with the show know, this has been one tight season. Now, as we work our way into the final week of competition for three classes (including the dirt modifieds) we come to the point where one has to ask, "Just who's taking home the bacon?"

Well, as we don't give out bacon-prizes in the Digital World Racing League, no one is. But I can assure you that some championship trophies will be going home with a few drivers tonight.

For two classes coming into this evening only one race will be remaining when the last checkered flag of the evening drops. For another, only a handful of races are left.

The Pure Stocks tackle the figure 8, the Dirt Modifieds tighten up their points standings, and the Sprint Cars attempt to beat the track record all in one tonight! You can expect one thing tonight: ACTION.

The Sprint Cars , much like the Super Late Models, are very fast and very hard to handle. Unlike their Super Late Model counterparts though , they're much smaller, have open wheels, and tend to get tied up on those first couple laps a lot more often.

E veryone loves the TROO cars! From the most staunch racing fan to the those who just watch for the crashes. There's a little bit of everything for everyone in the series. You've got your precision driving tactics, sideways sliding, and over-braking and over-taking for the racer in all of us. On the other hand, you've got nasty wrecks, flips, and twisted metal for the sadist in all of us! It also has co-announcer Caz Freschi!

As some of you may have noticed, this past Sunday, the Dirtfield Races show was on hiatus!

It was actually a pretty busy day out in the scary world of real life for track owner Toby Rainbow and I. With all the money we could scrape together from the Otway Raceway Park (the facility that houses the world famous Dirtfield Raceway, of course!) and our real life funding, we purchased an actual honest-to-god real life race car.

What happens when you add the Pure Stocks, Sprint Cars, and Dirt Modifieds together? Well, it would probably be pretty ugly were it a car, so we're fortunate in that it's the theme of this week's show!

As some of you may have noticed, we took a little vacation last week on Dirtfield Races! Although the races weren't aired, I thought it'd be cool to update you guys on what all went down this past Sunday, as well let you know what to expect this week on the show!

Last week, three divisions had heated battles on the banks of the Dirtfield Raceway. The Pure Stocks, Sprint Cars, and Dirt Modifieds all had some pretty competitive races. When the dirt clods fell to earth once more, Ryde Thor had come up one race short of a hat trick.

With the third Dirt Track race of the season rapidly approaching, drivers are already gearing up for what promises to be an interesting night of racing.

Three classes, the Pure Stocks, the Winged Sprints, and of course the Dirt Modifieds are slated to take to the track this Sunday evening. So far things have been more competitive this season than in the last three combined, and if that's any indication of what we can expect to see this Sunday (with the televised main events beginning at 4 PM SLT) this should be a barn burner.
