Sean Kagalis.. Strum Diesel in SL began playing guitar and writing songs at 13. A year later he landed his first gig at an old rundown Daytona Beach, Florida gas station turned biker-bar dubbed Charlie’s. After receiving the approval of a presumably tough audience, Sean began to realize that being a performing songwriter was his destiny. Just a few years later Sean performed his song â€Â.. and I failed social studies that year †at the 1999 International Conference on Non-Violence, which was held at the Doctor Martin Luther King Center in Atlanta, Georgia. The song is a narration of childhood experiences growing up in a predominantly racist community in Lake County, Florida. Personal experience is the primary source for subject matter in Sean’s work. When he’s not lamenting his heartbreak, or the heartbreak he has created, his voice is dedicated to explicating socio-political issues that are constantly perverted or altogether ignored by mainstream media. Being the down to earth kinda guy he is we decided to match up Strum with Hobo Island for his Live N Kickin Performance. Second Life Hobos have a long history in Second Life and the group originates from Calleta’s Hobo Railroad and Information Hub. Bonehead Goalpost and her assorted hobo friends built Hobo Island not as a replacement for Calleta, but to allow Second Life Hobos to expand their activities in social networking, teaching others, providing an outstanding sand box, and in reducing bothersome lag. Second Life hobos are also known to be some of the best builders around! Wait till you see Aitolda Cooljoke ’s build “ Castaway Cove †where Strum performed.
Maybe some more exciting entrances or exits... people arriving on chariots, leaving on rocketships. Things that are unique to the platform's capabilities.

Chariots! Now that's a great idea.
I remember over a year ago we did this great video of CyberPiper... he had this one song where his "keyboard coupe" flew up in the air and all the dancers started air-dancing with him. It was amazing stuff, really, makes me realize how much more is possible than we ever see.
[Come to think about it, I just realized that we don't have a section for some of those old shows on our new site. We'll have to do something about that.]

RE: [Come to think about it, I just realized that we don't have a section for some of those old shows on our new site. We'll have to do something about that.] yes like Unday and Toys for Tots that Freestar and I did. Would be a shame if those old shows could not be readily avail to view anymore.

Good point Delinda. They are certainly missing right now, however, the Specials page is the place for these to be added. On the old site it was called On Location.
Right now Specials (http://treet.tv/shows/specials-treet) just has a few clips, however, we'll gradually get all the old On Location shows across to here, including Toys for Tots, Relay for Life etc etc.
Thanks for the reminder. :)

Toys for Tots is a good deal.... glad to hear that you did a show about it. I have helped with them in RL before. Very good cause! Btw, Delinda you were right, this new website is very nice! Kudos to all the people who worked on it.

Mind if I add that to the sidebar of Tunes inSL somehow?
I'm trying to make that sidebar less wordy and more module-y.
