How do you pick guests to be on Tonight Live? If I know someone that has an interesting Second Life story to tell who should they contact from the show?

PaisleyBeebe

Great Start Texas :) To get an opportunity to appear on Tonight Live please send a notecard or press release to my P.A Bliss Windlow in SL in notecard form or via email at blisswindlow@hotmail.com Outline what the subject is why we should have them on, and a website link if there is one. We book our shows about 6 weeks out, will occasionally rearrange our schedule if there is something important that we must highlight, so give us plenty of time if the subject of the story is tied to a date. We have had a large amount of our guests from press releases or just a simple lead to a great story this way. I also follow twitter leads, facebook leads, and I read and follow a lot of blogs also. We are definitely open to all stories. We choose stories on suitability to our show, timelines, and interest to our viewers. If you are trying to sell something...probably best to ask for sponsorship we are also very interested in that!
regards Paisley

This weeks show has a mix of awsomeness you are going to love!
Axi Kurman, Nance Brody, and McCabe Maxstead

Imprudence Viewer Developer McCabe MaxsteadImprudence Viewer Developer McCabe Maxstead

This weeks show also features the owner of the 3rd Party Second Life viewer Imprudence, McCabe Maxstead. Imprudence has been in the news these few weeks touted as an alternative to the now banned Emerald viewer. The Imprudence viewer is known as being the viewer that most closely resembles the Emerald viewer with some of the most popular features it incorporated, but its always been the little baby brother to Emerald…however the big difference between Imprudence and Emerald is that no one associated with Emerald has anything to do with this viewer. While the Emerald developers have now all been tainted with the brush of previous greifers and hackers, Imprudence has proved itself to be truely transparent and open in its development, with a viewer that the majority of Ex/Emerald users will no doubt turn to if they are looking for a veiwer that it is safe to use, similar in style to Emerald which is based on the L.L 1.23 viewer, but nothing like the Linden Lab 2.0 viewer that has been unanimously rejected by the majority of Second Life users. McCabe Maxstead has agreed to an exclusive interview with Tonight Live. Paisley will be asking what has happened recently with use of the viewer since the Emerald Scandal? Where will they be going now? What features are included in the viewer? and how will they also comply with the Linden Lab requirements for all 3rd Party viewers. Why should we trust Imprudence? and what are they promising us?

Another great crowd! (We crashed the Sim! )and a great show! Guests included Chancellor of Caledon Oxbridge, Carl Metropolitan talking about the scrapped community gateway program; singer / songwriter Tribbs Nirvana; and well known journalist and blogger Mitch Wagner for a perspective on Linden Labs new Fast Easy Fun.

The results of my escapade into “Noob land”http://tonightlivewithpaisleybeebe.com/2010/08/27/paisley-beebe-goes-undercover-as-a-noob/ come full circle on this show in a revealing interview with Carl Metropolitan. Who gives his take on the scrapping of the Community Gateway program that helped new users learn about Second Life without being harassed, and confused.

Rose Keiko and Emerald Team.

The Emerald Team Jessica Lyon and New Owner Arabella SteadmanThe Emerald Team Jessica Lyon and New Owner Arabella Steadman

See Here http://treet.tv/shows/tonightlive/episodes/tlpb-22aug10

This video includes the entire show, there are some lovely important interviews with Rose Borchovski and Keiko Takamura, with new video from Keiko from her new Album release and pictures of Rose’s Art work. Rose was the Banned Artist from this years SLB7, she talks about how she felt about having her beautiful work just “mailed” back to her by Courtney Linden with not much of an explanation. And Keiko is “That Girl” the “IT” girl from the Second Life ads all over, “Be Your Avatar” She talks during this Show about how she is now recognised in the Bank Queue and the Grocery store after all her publicity from being a Musician on Second Life. Of course we also have the Emerald leaders on the show. (did you miss that?) Arabella Steadham and Jessica Lyon talking in depth about the recent Emerald Viewer drama’s.
Filmed from a “secret” location due to instability (ie all sorts of shenanigans..to quote Arabella) from our normal Studio…Please enjoy….

Tonight Live Maxwell Graf, Stratus MacTavish, Glyph Graves Is up Now http://treet.tv/shows/tonightlive

This Sunday 6pm slt on Tonight Live with Paisley Beebe had two amazing creators and Music.

RusticaRusticaMaxwell Graf from the incredible Sim Rustica talks about his controversial decision to delete his Sim Lagnmoor, in response to Linden Lab’s inaction on content theft. Maxwell Graf is the designer and builder of Rustica, his sims Lagnmoor and Rustica were all that remained of his 3 sims that he has been deleting one by one. Two weeks ago he deleted Lagnmoor. Lagnmoor held examples of his amazing fairytale style houses and a theatre that had views right across the sea to his Castle of Rustica. It was also where Tonight Live and Live n Kickin were filmed some time back. The Theatre on Lagnmoor was custom created for Tonight Live and stayed up long after the show. The Lagnmoor sim was simply stunning and up there in quality with many of the most renown sim designs ever seen in Second Life. So the Second Life community reacted with understandable shock and dismay when Maxwell announced he was going to delete the sim in response to constant content theft and Linden Lab’s seemingly unwillingness to ban the person who was proven to have been stealing Maxwell’s designs and selling them openly and brazenly in his store. Maxwell will be telling us the story behind the deletion which was movingly highlighted recently on another Treet.tv show Designing Worlds and filmed by Treet.tv.

My Life As A Night Elf PriestMy Life As A Night Elf PriestThis Sunday 6pm slt on Tonight Live. This years Second Life Community Convention is being held in Boston USA in August, weekend of the 13th to the 15th. Unfortunately I won't be going this year, like a lot of others, times are tough this year. But I'd love to be going, last years SLCC in San Francisco holds some very very fond memories for me. It was by far one of the most exiting and fun holidays I've ever had. Meeting people I'd met briefly in second Life and feeling as if I had cemented firm friendships. Having so many people with such a strong bond of a love of virtual reality was incredible. This Sunday we talk to one of the organisers of SLCC this year who was also involved last year, Rhiannon Chatnoir will tell us what to expect this year both at Boston and in world.

We also meet Sojurn Rossini Second Life Musician. Sojurn is very private about his music and his private life there is not much known about him and what propels him to express himself through live music in real life and in Second Life. So it will be interesting to find out what inspires him and what he gets out of appearing in Second Life.

SLCCSLCCWorld Of Warcraft has been in the news this week, because of Blizzard's decision to enforce real life identities on the official World Of Warcraft forums. This has people in Second Life looking over their shoulders, wondering if this is the start of a trend. This week on Tonight Live we will meet Bonnie Nardi or Bonnie Lefavre as she is in Second Life, who is the Author of a book released last month concerning her experiences inside World of Warcraft called “My Life As A Night Elf Priest”. Bonnie Trained as Anthropologist and now Studies how people use Technology and how it transforms human life. Bonnie entered WOW to support a class she was teaching at university. Never being a gamer she was astounded at what she discovered in WOW and subsequently found she was a huge fan, and wanted everyone else to know about what goes on in WOW. What did she discover about human nature in the game? I have a list of about 30 questions....I won't get thru them all but I find it a fascinating subject. If you're a player come to the studio in your role playing WOW gear! we'd love to see you.

SL7BSL7B http://treet.tv/shows/tonightlive SL7B does anyone feel like celebrating after this last week? You know? I’d be interested to know how many Second Life residents actually know about the layoffs and care about them? Will the Layoffs affect the Second Life Birthday Celebrations as a result? And…are we celebrating Linden Lab or Second Life? Im not sure about you, but, I tend to think of Second Life as all of us…all of us “residents” that have in-fact built Second Life, with the tools that L.L gave us.

The Daily PWN SetThe Daily PWN Set

Sure the M's keep rolling in (was it a slight nod to Pooky having M Linden on The 1st Question a couple of weeks ago? Who knows).

This was the first episode of the show that I was directly involved in and featured the finished (for now) version of the new set. How does it play? Well the set I believe looks dynamic while not being too overwhelming and the content was interesting before my involvement I just think it's more accessible now.
